Vanity Ball - Jean Bentley Dance Orchestra
Sunday 19th June 2022 7:00 PM
Stag Plaza
Blue Flamingo Music
You are invited to an evening of glamour and charm embracing the period of the 20s, 30s and 40s with live music from the Jean Bentley Vintage Dance Orchestra. The dancing will be led by David and Sandra Coppen of the Alemana Academy of Dancing who will demonstrate and teach some of our old favourite dance moves. Our compere Duncan will direct us through our evening and support us with his CD collection of music of the period. He will also introduce the raffle with some exciting prizes and our nominated charity for the event – The Hospice in the Weald and Ukraine.
The event is set in the Art Deco backdrop of the Plaza Suite at the Stag Theatre Sevenoaks with its excellent bar facilities, cabaret seating and dance floor. The evening promises a fun-filled celebration of music, dance and cabaret reminiscent of the Gatsby era. And one for those who just want to sit and listen and absorb the atmosphere of the occasion or for those who want to dance the night away.
You do not have to be an experienced dancer to take part, just come with a willingness to join in and have fun whilst supporting an excellent charity. Black tie /Vintage Dress encouraged Masks optional
Ticket £18 full price and £15 for students, disabled and OAPs.
